Taking the old brake pedal out (don't do it - trim the old pedal to size). 2. Removing the auto tranny - the top two bolts, coolant lines, dipstick tube, the flex plate, and the tranny itself (it's heavy and I worked by myself). 3. Stabbing in the five speed, and replacing the top two bolts. 4. Figuring out how to run the stainless steel flex line from the master cylinder to the slave. When I would get stuck, I came back to tt.net, and usually could find the answer. I did search first, but if I couldn't find the answer I would post my question and usually have an answer the next morning. Without this site, I flat would not have been able to do it. Took me about 50 hours working by myself - probably ten of those hours were spent on researching how to do the next step. It was definitely worth it. My Z is now much more fun to drive. Try it, you'll like it.
